about me
Hi, I'm Vanesa, aka La Oveja. I'm originally from Argentina, but always on the move. I've been fully dedicated to this craft that I'm passionate about for over a decade. My work ethic is based on mutual trust between the client and me. It's essential to feel a connection on both sides, as it's fundamental to create a relaxed environment where we both feel comfortable, and to ensure you trust in my skills. In my work, whether in blackwork or color, I need a certain level of creative freedom. I enjoy when clients share their ideas and vision, but I prefer to avoid rigid structures and copied designs. My approach is to find a balance between the client’s expectations and my professional expertise, offering advice and aesthetic solutions. My goal is for each client to leave highly satisfied and come back for more tattoos, as I’ve consistently achieved over the years. I’m defined by exploring two styles that, although they may seem opposite, reflect the duality of my artistic and personal expression. In both styles, my aim is to create not just a tattoo, but an exclusive piece of art that reflects your unique identity. After all, a tattoo is a personal expression eternalized on the skin.
Blackwork
On one hand, I specialize in blackwork, particularly in tribal styles inspired by Maori references. This style is characterized by its complex patterns that not only captivate visually but also flow with the body, adapting organically to its shape. I prefer freehand work, allowing me to design directly on the skin to ensure each piece is unique, a true extension of the individual.
Color collage
In contrast, my other approach is a vibrant fusion of realism, pop, new school, cartoon, and trash styles. This combination gives rise to the creation of colorful, contrast-filled collages, designed to stand out and resonate with those looking for a piece that truly distinguishes itself in originality and presence.
